Chemistry and Biochemistry
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at Mercyhurst College is a community of students and faculty working together to learn, question, and experience science. Our curriculum challenges students to think, solve problems, and communicate as scientists within the strong liberal arts framework at Mercyhurst.
If you love science but are unsure of a specific career path, this program is perfect for you. We believe in preparing students for careers as scientists in the broadest sense. Graduates of the chemistry and biochemistry program have gone on to medical school or graduate studies in chemistry, pharmacology and engineering, and have pursued careers as laboratory scientists, researchers and teachers.
